I just wanted your opinion on something (anyone's opinion) but I know that RetNavy has answered a ton of questions around this subject..
I am 19 years old and will be headed to DoDMERB on the 22nd ..
I am in great physical shape, I am on a Division 1 University track team and also do weight lifting ..
Here is my concern:
When I was 13 yrs old (2002) I had back surgery (a rod and screws) to correct kyphosis ..
I was released to full physical activity 6 months after that and have had no pain, issues, or problems with my back as I continue to play collegiate sports and do weight lifting. I'm strong and have letters from my surgeon indicating that I am released to do any physical activity/contact sports including military duty..
I know I will have to require a waiver, if possible ..
But my question is what are my chances?
Anything will help
I'm so worried because my passion is to serve and I'm so strong, fit, and healthy but I'm so afraid they'll look pass that
Thanks
