Ok so I am still in High School but I have a question. I am hoping to major in Exercise Science in hopes to become in Physical Therapist in the Army. I know from my brothers experience that he majored in Communications and was a Engineer in the Army. So I was wondering how the process goes for going to graduate school to become a physical therapist/doctor? If have heard you have to get an education delay but what the probability of getting it is? Anyways If i became a licensed physical therapist, am i a shoe in to get into the Army Medical Corps?

Justin, Check out the GoArmy Website. Make contact with an AMEDD recruiter. There is a program that transitions Army ROTC Cadets to Physical Therapy Graduate programs. There may also be a program that transitions Army ROTC Cadets to Physician Assistant programs. If I find a specific reference to the program name I will PM you.

Graduate School

Justin777,

I was wrong. The program I read in CCR 145-1 is ROTC to Pharmacy School not a Physical Therapy program. I still recommend you contact an AMEDD recruiter to get some options for attending Physical Therapy School.
