Hello,

My son is applying for the AIM summer program. Do they have to pass the DoDMERB physical for this program?

I am asking because up until a month ago my son took medication for ADD. He has discontinued this because he knows he will not be accepted into the academy unless he has been free from the medication and ADD symptoms for 1 year. I hope he can still be considered for the AIM program.

Thanks,
Sadie

The medical qualifications for AIM are as follows:

You must be in good health and physical condition, able to run, do push-ups and sit-ups, and handle the heat and humidity of a Connecticut summer! Your weight must be proportional to your height.

Specific questions about eligibility for the AIM program can be directed to AIM@uscga.edu

Good Luck to your son! :thumb:
