Are SAT II's mandatory for USMA because if I'm not mistaken, it does not state it anywhere on the site.

Not required for class 2014.

Please call and ask the admissions see if they will even look at those. If not, it would be a waste to send.

They're not required for the class of 2015. The admissions people at SLS said they won't even look at them. Most other colleges require them, so you'll probably have to take them anyway.

How about other military schools such as The Citadel, Norwich, VMI, etc. ?

And none of the nominations require them as far as I know.

Correct - they are not required for West Point. The main reason to take them is as a backup if you do not get in West Point. Many colleges require one or more of these tests.

Just wondering, do you guys think admissions will consider SAT II's a bit when looking at your application. Say I get a 800 on the so and so test; maybe that's a few points for my file...?

son got 3x 800's. He got in but his ACT is good too. I don't know if they look at sat2 at all or as they said, no.

If you can get 800 on a subject test, you probably have strong enough academics to get in without them.
