Hello. I am applying to USMA, USAFA, and for the Army ROTC Scholarship. I have been thru my examinations, and the forms have been sent back by the medical offices.

When I log in on the Concorde site and check on my application status, I am able to click a link which then takes me to the DoDMERB site. Upon making an account and logging in, it shows the two academies with both medical statuses as "In Process." Both were entered into the system at different times, 8 days apart, in early June.

My question arises with the ROTC Scholarship. Would it show in this system my medical status for ROTC, or is it normal that ROTC is not showing in the DoDMERB system? I ask because the two academies were entered in early June, and upon getting access to this system just the other day, it is now more than a month later and ROTC is still not on the page.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The ROTC doesn't go through DoDMERB until AFTER you are awarded the scholarship, whereas the academies have you complete DoDMERB right when you apply. So, assuming that you have not been awarded the ROTC scholarship yet, then that is normal. Your ROTC status will show up on the website a few weeks after you find out that you have been awarded the scholarship.

I was wondering the same thing. USAFA and USMA are there but the only one I really care about is NROTC Marine Option and it's not there.

I remember a lot of people asking about this last year. None of the ROTC scholarships show up in DoDMERB until you are awarded the scholarship. The academies show up earlier on DoDMERB, after you apply.

So, if someone is just applying for ROTC scholarships do they wait to have the exam until they are awarded the scholarship?

Ahh ok. That clears it up for me and alleviates the slight worry I had that something had went awry. Thank you, I appreciate it.

Yes, if you're JUST applying for ROTC, you don't do the exam until a few weeks after you are awarded the scholarship. I only applied for ROTC, no academies, so I had to wait to see if I got the scholarship, and then about 3 or 4 weeks after I found out I got the scholarship is when I completed DoDMERB.
