What kind of laptop are cadets issued ad what are its specs? Specifically, it it touchscreen? Also, what is the policy with Wi-Fi at West Point? Could any device connect or only approved devices?
 
Only approved devices after the security team has made sure they are safe and secure. Someone else with no knowledge can speak to gaming devices and phones specifically.
 
Laptop changes almost every year. You won’t know until you get it.
 
They had really spotty internet there, unfortunately. Make sure your cadet has an unlimited data plan; They will be needing it!
