R Day Report Time

Realistcially how much time should be allowed on R Day from scheduled report time at Ike Hall to being at Thayer Gate waiting in line to get into post ?
My DS i believ has a 9:15am report time so would being at Thayer gate by 8:15am be enough time to get thru security and wait on the customary lines ?
 
topnotch an hour ahead of your CC's report time should be fine. You can park in the Buffalo Soldier lot. A bus should come by about every 15 minutes to take you to Ike Hall for reporting. Also know that your CC can report early...just not late! Best of luck to your DS in slaying the BEAST!
 
Don't think mom wants to let go of her son any earlier than she has too! So I think 815am it is. Thanks for info.

You will find the answers to all of your questions from the West Point liaison Debra Dalton. Much information provided on this forum is OUTSTANDING and some is just incorrect and unreliable.

Many on this forum are real experts on West Point and the Army with years of experience and with current reliable information. Others genuinely think they are knowledgeable but are not. Other are just speculating or giving well meaning but sometimes poor advice and information based on their opinions and misconceptions.

The most reliable information is from official West Point sources.
