R.I.P., MurfTheSurf

I saw the news this morning on a Class of 2020 parent Facebook page. His passing is a huge loss for our community. Prayers for his Plebe and his family. Rest In Peace.
 
I had seen he was "banned" and I couldn't figure out why (didn't see a fight).

This has happened at least one other time since I joined this forum and it reminds us that there are, in fact, human beings at the other end of these SAF accounts.

Will miss him on this site & praying for his family during this difficult time. He was one of the main folks keeping our 2020 appointment thread organized & fun...so much so, that 2021 recruited his help as well.:angel:
 
He will be missed. Fair Winds and Following Seas. Sunset and Evening Stars and Fiddlers Green forever.
 
Saw this on fb this morning. Such heartbreaking news, he will be missed. Praying for his family.
 
I will never forget Murf's incredible pep-talk (even though it was writing) that he sent to me via private messages the first week I joined this forum. Rest in peace dear friend.
 
Oh, wow! I'm so sorry to read this. Had he been sick? I always enjoyed his posts, and I was looking forward (hopefully!) to him adding my DS's name to the list of acceptances next year.

My DS shared this news with me this afternoon. I am so very sorry to hear about Murf's passing. Godspeed, Murf.
 
I am so sorry to learn about his passing. My his spirit and his family be carried through these difficult times on a Sea of Grace. How sad. A loss to our community.
 
This is awful, awful news.
He was such an involved member of the SA forum community. He will be missed. Thoughts and prayers to his family.
