Keep the faith Riverdale. DS got the TWE on Saturday. Letter said CCEB was reviewing more applicants for this class than in the past two decades (and from this board we know one of the smallest classes in that same time).

On to Plan B and congratulations to all that got the BFE this year because it is really an accomplishment.

Oh ProudTexan I am sorry to hear that DS received a TWE. We sure do know how disappointing it is... I know your DS has a great plan B and I wish him all the best.

Sorry to hear about the TWE. Im still mailbox stalking. My plan B was applying to Marion Military Institute and I have been accepted as of last week but as LEP ( no military obligation) and as of yet no scholarship from CGA as a SAP. My dream is CGA and I am willing to put effort into achieving that goal. If I also receive a TWE from CGA then I still intend to attend Marion as a self-prep and reappy next year to CGA. Its never over till its over! Tell you DS if he truely desires CGA then keep pursuing!!

txga67 please send me a PM about your experience with Marion to date.
DS is on the waiting list for the CGA Scholars and mailbox stalking daily. I have been talking to admissions @ Marion and all CGA Scholars have to apply prior to attending. You have done the right thing being pro-active showing the academy your intentions. Good Luck with the BFE and who knows, maybe we will see you @ Marion in the self-prep SAP program.
