Last application cycle for USNA I was disqualified for color vision deficiency and did not receive a waiver. I am re-applying this year, with the hopes that I will receive one of the few elusive color vision waivers given by USNA. I am confused however, because my DoDMERB page says a waiver has already been denied for the current admissions cycle.
Specifically, my file says my application was added to the system on October 10th, 2013, and that I was denied a medical waiver on the same day.
My question is this: have I truly been denied a waiver for the second time, or is this just showing up since it was already in the system from last year?
I find it hard to believe that I would be denied a waiver so early, especially when my application is not complete. Furthermore that USNA would deny a waiver on the exact same day DoDMERB added my application. Perhaps I am just hoping too much. For reference, I did not receive notice of the waiver being denied last cycle until February, if I recall correctly.
