I am currently a freshman student in college in AFROTC and was denied an appointment last year to the AFA and NA. Does anyone know the reapplication timeline(s) for the AFA and NA or any other information/advice as how to do everything that I can in order to receive an appointment this year? Unfortunately, my ALO is new this year (different from last year) and doesn't know much about the differences for those who are reapplying.

I would also check with your ROTC det to see if you can get a nom from them. You need to realize that applying for noms is one thing, and your package is another. If I am correct you cannot go to a board until your first semester grades are in. HOWEVER, you can't go to a board either without a nom, thus you do need to get on the ball right now for the noms.

Get on line and do it today for the application, no need to wait until Monday.

I understand that the nomination packet/letter(s) can be done as quickly as possible-- I am an inch from sending them off. But, I cannot fully submit my online application because the only actegory that I have remaining is my college transcript, which, as Pima said, can't be sent to the Academy until the end of the first semester.

Is there any way that I could side step such a long wait or, is there a possibility that the review board will look at everything with the exception of my transcript that I can't officially report until late December? I thought maybe because I was reapplying that they would evaluate what I had and wait for the transcript.
