reapplying after medical dq

Has anyone succesfuly reapplied after a medical DQ. Both West Point and Naval started the waiver process for my son but honestly I think it was just too late in the process. They both posted waiver requests on April 6. We definetely made a mistake and didn't get some info in quickly enough. But just curious if/how this has worked for anyone.

We went ahead and had the Methacholine challenge test done that the Naval Academy had scheduled. DS passed.

Anything I should know???
 
Our DS reapplied to WP after medical DQ last year ( shoulder surgery) and is reporting to R-day on Monday. He went to Plan B school, did ROTC, reapplied and got waiver this time. If DS/DD is passionate about it still in the fall, tell them to reapply & follow their Dreams!
