reapplying references

i am reapplying and during my senior year i was a dual enrollment student. one of the college classes i took was an english class. should i have my old prof write my reference, or my high school english teacher?

I would use college IF you are in a class where your prof knows who you are -- note that YOU can help make this happen (sitting in front, being prepared, asking good questions, going for extra instruction, etc.). However, if you're in a class of 300 students and realize early on you won't be able to become more than a number to your prof, then you're better off going with your h.s. teacher.
