Hi All,

My status on DoDMERB was updated to "Waiver Granted" a few weeks ago and my Offer of Appointment followed on CIS which I have already accepted. I received a letter in the mail informing me that I have received my waiver; however, it only listed 3/4 Medical DQ Codes.

I received a waiver for the following:
D241.30Asthma/reactive airway disease/exercise induced bronchospasm after age 13
D111.10History of atopic dermatitis or eczema after 12th birthday
D225.50History of any dislocation, subluxation or instability of the elbow

The waiver letter did not list:
D156.10Color vision deficiency that does not meet individual Services standards

I was never instructed to complete any remedials during the medical process.

What does this mean in terms of my appointment and medical clearance?

If you received an appointment and have accepted it, I don't understand your question. You report on I-Day.

If you have red / green colorblindness, your options upon graduation will be limited. USNA will make you aware of that -- I believe you must sign something indicating your acknowledgement of this situation. If you have questions, suggest you consult your RD.

Hello, how did you get a wavier for eczema ? Did you have to send any documents?
