Received an LOA!! CVW?

I just received an LOA yesterday and I am so grateful and excited! I really want to attend a CVW but from what I understand they are now being reserved for people who were unable to attend Summer Seminar. Although I did attend NASS, because I received an LOA, would it be inappropriate to email admissions to inquire about a potential CVW? Thank you in advance for all of the help!

Do you feel you need one to decide? Are you trying to weigh options? Or are you all in USNA?
 
You could visit it again (although that depends on your personal situation). You don't need to go on a tour if you don't want to. There are many places open to the public on campus.
 
Don’t gauge when you will hear based upon when someone submits their package. Prepare to wait. Most hear Jan-March. Every year we see lots of candidates on here waiting until April 15th.

Congrats on the LOA.
 
CVW is a different experience from NASS. Since you have an LOA if you ask for one more thank likely you’ll be granted. You have to apply for it so ask your RC to help you with a link. Congrats on the LOA. Exciting stuff exciting time for you.

I don’t mind at all no worries! It was marked at CPR on Sunday October 6th I believe and I received the LOA on Friday October 11th. And no I am not a recruited athlete

I’m a reasonable driving distance away so even if I don’t get a CVW I’m definitely visiting again

You could go now, or ask for a CVW for the Spring after you are fully appointed!
DD went as a junior in Jan 2019. It was a mix of Srs trying to decide (most admitted) and Jrs. It might be nice to go then to compare notes with other Srs who are also making their final decisions.

Thank you! If I am granted a CVW I will try to plan it for Spring!
