I received a medical waiver this year for having an inhaler in 2017 as well as a false nut allergy. I do not currently have asthma nor was I ever really formally diagnosed; I simply had an inhaler just in case. I am on track to commission but I was wondering if this would affect whether or not I would be able to go into the Navy EOD community. Thank you.

Given your report, it seems like you are in or about to enter USNA or NROTC. Your best bet would be to ask your cadre, who will put you in touch with the appropriate Navy physician who can give you the CURRENT...real skinny to your question
