Hi everyone. My son just received his nomination from MOC. Should he call the Academy to let them know or just sit and wait? He wants to be a Mid so badly, any advice would be great.

The MOC's office will advise USNA of the official list on nominees; then the offers will start flowing. Best wishes.

First of all, congrats!

Second, no, you don't need to call the academy, the nom will show up in his portal shortly. I think it was 7-10 days for my son.
