I am one of six nominated from my congressional district. I was told by the admissions team a couple weeks ago that I have a very good shot of getting an appointment this year but just recently another gentleman from my district was offered an appointment as a recruited athlete to play football. I was wondering if this counted towards the one person who can be selected from the congressional district. Any info would be very helpful!

our MOC nominated 10 for USNA, our DS & one recruited football player & another boy already has appointment, I wouldn't be surprised if there are more? If you are qualified with nom & SA wants you they will find a way
