Hello,
I have been looking at the nominations I am eligible for and I need several references from teachers and other representatives at my school. Would it make sense to use the same references for different nomination applications? For example: Having my math teachers letter of recommendation sent to both senators in my state.
Thanks.

The way i understand is the each senator application is a separate and independent process. So if same person sends rec letter to both, why should it matter...Disclaimer: I am a parent to a c/2025 hopeful, so will be first time going thru this coming fall.

We used the same teachers for all the recommendations. Just have a conversation with them and explain the process and how many letters you are asking them to do. If you apply to your MOC, both Senators (one of ours didn't require any letters), and multiple SA's, there are quite a few forms/letters to fill out.

We found that most teachers are happy to help if you have been a good student and explain everything to them.

Yes, that is what my DS did. He had the same teachers send to the different nomination sources.

I agree with everyone here. I applied with the same rec letters to both senators and my rep. I think it also helps you with possible interviews. It’s easier to feel more comfortable when all of your interviewers have read the same things about you. You feel more comfortable in your own skin that way.
