I am a parent of a Basic cadet 2014. One day during BCT assault course saw a picture of my daughter wearing a lime-colored reflective band on her right arm. Others wearing orange vests. Does anyone what they signafy.
? Thank you.

Orange vest on basics means they are a road guard. They ensure traffic stops before a flight crosses a street.

Yellow arm bands probably mean a basic is on a Form 18 for illness or injury. This is so the cadre know they cannot fully participate in physical activities.

Lime Green & Silver Arm Band on BCT2 Cadet

My son yesterday was going through the Assult Training Course and we noticed this color (lime green& silver) arm band. Would that be the same information as the yellow arm band? We haven't heard from him that he has anything wrong with him other than he was losing weight at the beginning of basic--but everyone was. His metabolizm is always crazy during his HS Sports. I really was hoping that it meant he was the last one that had to go through and watch his group? I am thankful that he is in the best of hands there. Just hope he doesn't collapse. : D

Not sure about the yellow band. My daughter had the lime green/silver one and during the assault course. Like you we have not received any calls. The best to your son. I think both may have experienced something of a minor nature because on the same day at a later time observed other pictures our daughter without the band.

it's always blue reflective belt means injury, and last year during basic those other colors meant they had swine flu or something of that nature...
