Regimental Calendar - midshipmen home until late March 2021?

Does anyone have any updates on the upcoming midshipmen schedule? It appears that the calendar came out, and midshipmen are not to return back on campus until March 2021. Is it safe to assume this is COVID-related? Appreciate any input.

The most recent thing I heard was that students who are at sea will not be returning to KP, but will return home. Students MIGHT be returning to KP after Christmas. I believe the issue is COVID related and has to do with the travel associated with the second trimester. I believe that A split students will be leaving for sea from KP if they have their MMC and a billet. All other A split students will return home to await their orders for sea. I don't know that this has all been confirmed yet.

It might be helpful to listen to the update posted on Sept. 11th at 12:33 on the USMMA FB page. Towards the middle to end they talked about this question.

22 and 23 B's are going home when the return from sea and will start the 2nd tri remotely. The rest of the regiment will leave campus on 11/24 for Thanksgiving break and not return until after January 3 at the earliest in stages.
