Regular ACT or the one with writing?

    Which ACT do I need to take for the academy? the ACT. or the ACT plus writing?

    For my USNA application I took one with the writing, and one without. They accepted both, but I believe that they prefer that you take it with the writing.

    I would take the one with writing, most other colleges I applied to required it. If you want a strong back up, maybe with ROTC, then with writing is necessary.
