This just crossed my mind but is it possible for a candidate who received the TWE to still be recruited by USMA or any Service academy for that matter?

Generally you will not receive a TWE until the appointments really start to go out in late winter/early spring. If you are recruited, it is much earlier in the year, way before they send out TWEs. Obviously there are outliers of people who receive TWEs before others, but I don't believe they recruit very late into the year. aka: after TWEs start going out.

no, i just didn't know if you meant the general process of attracting candidates. I recommend contacting the coaches of the team you want to play for. If they are recruiting you, you should probably have an open dialogue with them
