I was medically rejected a few months ago from DODMERB. However, I received a letter about 2 weeks ago that I am scholastically qualified to USNA and that whether I receive an appointment is contingent on my medical, physical, and nomination. So, does this mean that the Academy will look at my paper work now for my medical so I can get medically qualified?

Mr. Mullen-

I spoke to a woman at DODmerb and she said for some reason that they can't send me waivers yet. I am terribly confused on what to do next because I don't think there are many candidates in my situation (who have already qualified scholastically but were rejected medically). I tried to email you but the email did not go through.

I just received an email from Monrovia, Liberia, so, my email is working:thumb:

rejected

Try emailing him again.....if it doesn't work, repost here and someone will undoubtedly help.

And don't lose hope, all is not lost.....there are examples of students getting admitted after thinking they were medically rejected.

Mr. Mullen IS the expert and will do all he can if you get a hold of him. his email should work. Make sure you type it in correctly and try again.

He did; we have emailed and talked; and he is squred away:thumb:

mind if you tell us what you were disqualified for?

im just nervous about my finger that was broken back in '05 and now appears to be slightly bent sideways when my hands are fully open, but otherwise 100% functional :S

All medical issues are individually based. If you want assistance , pls follow my guidance in the previous posting. If U are looking for opinions and support, I'll bow out:thumb:
