Well the title pretty much says it all. I was just wondering if cadets were able to attend religious services during basic training?

Yes, you can attend services. Also, you will have an opportunity to participate in a weekly chaplain's hour. It's a great chance to chill and eat and could be the best hour of your week. :shake:

Absolutely! There is ample time for those who wish to partake in religious services to do so.
Here is a link to the Chaplain's page:http://www.westpoint.edu/chaplain/
Last summer, Wesdnesday evening was "chaplain's time". All New Cadets are invited and the different denominations hold "Chaplain's time" for a couple of hours. It is truly "santuary" and very "chill". They typically serve food and there is time for relaxation and fellowship. There are no cadre around so there is no yelling and screaming.
One does not have to be religious or belong to a certain denomination to attend.

The Chaplain's are fabulous. Anytime during Basic if you would like to see a Chaplain, just let your cadre or TAC know and they will arrange it for you. They provide good counsel to all.
