Remaining NROTC Boards

That's what I am afraid of too, especially since he has not returned my son's calls or messages. Would we still contact NTAG for the marine option status?
I would search for a main phone number to the recruiting office or drive there and ask. NTAGs are unique to the Navy.

DS's skipper told him and another 4/C today their packages weren't reviewed this board, while a female 4/C submitted at the same time was awarded a scholarship yesterday. The 4/Cs started at 13 and are down to 7, with the majority as CPers. 3 boards left he was told.

When you say went from 13 to 7, do you mean 6 people DOR'd?

So, here is my son's crazy situation... everything was submitted easily on time for last board. Yet, his packet is incomplete. We've contacted his district and they are working on it... the chief who was doing his stuff went on leave right before the board, then some other E5 took over, and nothing was completed. His teacher recommendations and college navy interview are missing from Netfocus... both teachers confirmed they did the recommendations months ago, plus he did his interview at University of SC. I'm sure they would of submitted it properly. SUPER FRUSTRATED.

OK, waiting till Monday and see if they have an update on his packet. They have a master chief working on it now. Said he "counseled" the other two who dropped the ball.

Any advice?
This same situation happened with our sons this past month. Email the contact on his portal and explain what’s the problem, They should be able to resolve if your got everything in before the deadline. It took a couple of emails to headquarters to update his portal to the correct status. Now he is only eligible for one last board versus all opportunities he could have had.

Recently got an email stating that I earned the NROTC National Scholarship, however whenever I log into the NETFOCUS account, nothing appears when I try to access my scholarship application. It takes me to the page where it should show a decision however everything is blank including my name, colleges, SSN, etc. Anyone else have this problem?

Furthermore, thank you so much to all that have contributed to everything ROTC related on these forums. Y'all truly made this process a little easier to navigate than without any other information. I also thank the Lord so much for this opportunity and pray for all other applicants good luck and guidance in this very patient/nerve racking decision process.

It's been a few years, so I don't remember exactly, but I think there are two separate portals. Since the application period has closed, you may not be able to access results from the application portal, if that is where you are looking. I think this one should show your status.

You may get a warning saying the connection is not private and have to go to the advanced settings option to continue to the site.

What is the over/under on getting the latest board results this coming week?
I think the goal os to have results out by the end of this week. But it is spring break time for colleges so that could slow things down a little.

Do you know why it says "No SSN or Date of Birth Match" when i try to check my application status?

That says it is for the 2022 scholarship application. That is for applying for next year's cycle and won't open until April.

I tried it again on 2021 application and it still says no match, I was told that my application is submitted.

Had you ever checked your status on the netfocus site and saw a status that your package was in fact submitted? That message typically means there has been no record of submission or that your package was removed from the system. You probably need to check with your recruiting officer. There might be a problem with the netfocus site but others here have been able to check their status. At least they could last week.

No it has always said this message, I just assumed that it would change or it was taking time to update into the system. I did recieve an email from netfocus saying that my application was sent and that I needed to turn a couple things in. I turned those documents in to my recruiter and he told me my application was sent. I messaged him that I can't access the portal and they have yet to reply.

same. I think just wait then.

Received the scholarship and NSI mandatory information package. If I am medically qualified through DODMERB and the agency listed is NROTC, do I still need to submit hard copies of requested medical forms to attend NSI as part of required forms?

I think you should be good, BUT, just to make sure, I would check with your NROTC unit and see what they recommend.

I believe it says something about submitting the approval from DoDMERB, or something like that? I think there was a list for the medical submit of options for that. I'd have to go back and read my kid's thing he received. I do not think you need to go and fill out all of the attached forms. It would be double work since you already had it completed for the DoDMERB physical you sent in for review.
