Is there a way i can prematurely know if an injury will disqualify me from a service academy. I am currently trying to get into the USAFA. I broke my arm at the elbow 3 years ago. I had 2 screws put in, then I had them removed 1 year ago. I currently have regained full flexibilty and will have equal strength soon. Is there a way I can know before the exam how much this will hurt or my chances or even disqualify me?

Email Mr. Mullen, he can help you out.

Totally different situation, but I had surgery on my pinky and had a metal pin put in it that was later removed. I had no problems through the DoDMERB process and was deemed medically qualified.

I agree...contact Mr Mullen......... Son has metal plate and screws still in arm, and he is cadet at WP right now.
