Reporting After Graduation

Most graduates get 30 days of leave following graduation and (I believe) then the official travel time to their new duty station, which depends on where their duty station is relative to USNA and how they are traveling (air/car). Some grads may have earlier reportiing dates, which trump the leave.

USNA1985 has it dead on. This "free" leave cannot be banked (meaning you can't decide to use only 20 days and get a credit of 10). In the event where an earlier report date is necessary (normally because one must attend a Navy school), the leave can be broken up into separate blocks BUT must all be used within 90 days of graduation.
