Resume of a stressed Sophomore

You have received a lot of good advice already - primarily RELAX and make sure you are not burning yourself out as a Sophomore. You have a long road ahead and need to pace yourself. Junior and Senior years will be tough, USAFA is on a whole other level.

On the more concrete side of advice - you have A LOT of extracurriculars. That's not a bad thing, but it is likely contributing to your stress and you would probably benefit from paring down a bit and just focusing on the activities that you have impactful leadership roles in. That is - roles where you are actually doing something as the leader, not just holding a title. USAFA will see through a pile of titles - but if you have an impactful leadership bullet for each of your titles (even if you only have 1 or 2 leadership roles), that will mean a lot more.

Be sure you are prepping for the SAT/ACT and start taking them as soon as you can - USAFA super scores so those test are a great way to show you really have what it takes academically if your grades are a little below average (not saying yours are - it may be that USAFA will recalculate your GPA to a much higher number based on your school profile - but that is out of your control, your SAT/ACT score IS under your control).

The biggest weakness I see in your application is the lack of sports. Do you like running? If so go for cross country/track. Distance running is a lot about training and pushing yourself mentally. In a school your size, you should be able to outwork enough people to make that team. However, if running is really not your thing, is there a varsity like option for golf? Is your club competitive? Could it be? Golf, like tennis (my sport), may have quite a few opportunities outside of school for you to compete that might be worth looking into. Bonus points if you take the leadership role in your golf club to make it competitive when it wasn't previously.

Good luck, pursue activities you enjoy, and relax. The application process is long, the USAFA experience is longer - you don't want to start down that road already burned out.
