Retirement Move HHGs Storage Question during pandemic

OK! USMA Class of 84 just retired from AD in the USAF on Feb 2020. HHGs in NTS until entitlement expiration date 31 Jan 2021. The pandemic put a wrench in our plans. I intend on applying for an extension of NTS under the Other Deserving Cases (rather than Medical/Education) category due to the pandemic (i.e., slowed down employment options, move choices, home selection). I should think a pandemic qualifies. Anyone had experience with approvals/disapproval of an extension request. I am especially interested in ones submitted during this difficult time for our nation. Thanks!

You might get a response on here, but this type of question is pretty common on the US Air Force Officer's Club facebook page. Just go to facebook and search for the group and you should find it. I am almost positive someone in that group will be able to help/provide insight.
