All the all call today the Supt said the goal is to have the cadet wing back by August and that basic is still scheduled as planned. Obviously it will be different from previous years but I am curious about everyone's opinion on this. The Supt said more information about basic will be provided Monday and they are making a plan to return the rest of the cadet wing during this summer. I think this is great idea..

It is absolute a great idea. There are many things that can be done: Periodic testing. Antibody testing. Masks. Vitamin D supplements.
The cadets are in the very lowest of risk categories for serious health consequences. A sensible plan to get them through the period until a vaccine is developed is all that is needed. If they don’t go back before August that means all summer programs were lost. No jump, no soar, no ops. Very disappointing but I’m fully aware of the circumstances. I wish all well I know my DS is ready to go back, he misses friends, hates the online school and quite frankly needs the structure right now.
