Does anyone reading this know if there is an active club in upstate NY?

Thanks. I tried that a couple weeks ago but haven't heard back. I'll keep trying.

Please pardon my ignorance. What is IM and how do I check it?

IM = Instant Messaging. Typically on these forums we refer to them as PM or Private messages. On your welcome screen/box (upper right hand side of the html screen - it may be different on the phone app) you will see 'Private Messages:' followed by 'Unread and 'Total'. If you have a message, it should show 'Notifications:1' or something similar. I had a PM for over month before noticing. Best wishes. :thumb:

On the phone App, you have to turn your notifications on as well.

Thank you. I thought that might be it, but wasn't sure because I checked there and the only message I have is my welcome message (no new messages). I thought I might be missing something. :)

Sorry, I didn't realize you were aware of that link. We belong to the Eastern VA Parents Club and we get emails forwarded by a Rose Marie Nikovitz at USAFA who is the Academy's Parent Club liaison. Her phone number is 719-333-3828. You might check with her to see if the Rochester club is active and the phone number for the club president. Hope that helps.

Thank you :)

My bad. I meant PM and apparently I didn't get the PM sent correctly from my phone. I have now corrected that by sending dbs the only live New York parents' club email from the email distribution list sent last week by Rose Marie Nikovitz. So no need to contact her.

Thank you Blackbird. I sent her an email this morning.

I'm from Syracuse and there is a parents club that is active in that area.
