Roller coaster II: Get Me (The Parent) Through Plebe Year Class of ‘25 🎢

My younger son graduates from HS this year and he asked to have his grad party this weekend because my '23 Mid would be able to be there. We just found out my '23's training schedule was changed last second and he can't make it.

As disappointed as my two boys are, I reminded them that although this is the first time an important family event will be missed, it certainly will not be the last.

Semper Gumby strikes. Hugs to you dad.

So I think the time has come to close this chapter. I know I promised a pic with 3/C shoulder boards in place however DS is lacking in his selfie game and is well immersed into Block 1 training.

For the Parents of '26---the ride will be rough, fast, slow, fantastic, enjoyable, frightening, etc. but remember you are on one track and your DS/DD is on another somewhat parallel track. You ride your train and let them ride theirs. We are here to help, you can do this as we all have done before.

Go NAVY!

This!!! Again and again!

Don’t let your worries become your mid’s worries. As don’t let your mid’s troubles become your troubles. That is — with a few dire exceptions — let them figure it out.
