Over the next few weeks many of the young women and men on this forum are weighing options on what school to attend, what branch to join (NROTC, AROTC, academy, enlistment, etc.)... I just wanted to point out how informative, responsive, receptive, supportive, and advocating the recruiting officers (some called ROO's and I suppose other titles) at each school my son is considering have been.
We are arranging overnight visits, meetings, and they have been OUTSTANDING in terms of responding to me or my DS's questions. For those families and interested parties helping make some choices, I recommend taking advantage of direct discussions with the recruiting officers at each university. It's made navigating all of this exponentially easier, and only have solidified why I'm even more excited for my DS to learn and grow in these programs that are at-mission helping these young people train to become future military leaders.
Take advantage of their guidance -and best of luck to all of you as you make your decisions.
