ROTC IS vs OOS, regarding TAMU

Concerning filling out the NROTC form, it asks if you qualify for In State or Out of State tuition at a school. I am very interested in TAMU, and every out of state student receives in state tuition (by receiving a scholarship of $1,000 or more, which OOS students are guaranteed for now). The part in parentheses is what complicates the whole thing though, because I can't exactly explain that I'll get in state tuition in the Corps there. I am sure that checking the In-State box will help me out, and TAMU is my first choice.

Anybody else run into this problem?

You can check "In State" with no problem, because it is true. EVERY out-of-state cadet is given at least the minimum $1000 per year scholarship to qualify for in-state tuition. It is one of the incentives A&M offers to entice people to join the Corps.

Curious - do the ROTC boards already know that about TAMU? In the meantime, I think those questions should be answered based on residential status for each school.

Thanks for the advice guys. Neither way seems wrong, I'll see if I can ask some of the guys I spent the night with there (btw, great experience especially in squadron 17!).
