I am currently an MS 1 in AROTC at a civilian 4-year university with plans to re-apply to USMA. I learned recently that there is another MS 1 from my school (and we're in the same ROTC company, so we have the same PMS) who is also re-applying. Is there a limit to how many ROTC nominations can come from a single PMS? I understand that the PMS signs off on the form, but I couldn't find anything on how many he/she can officially submit recommendations for. Thanks in advance.

Each ROTC unit gets 3 nominations.

No luck in finding similar specifics for AROTC noms to USMA, just links to the form and the mention on USMA.edu.

Interesting Code doc that says a total of 20 noms in a USMA class can come from junior and senior ROTC, but nothing about an individual AROTC unit limit.

Looks like it’s 5 for AFROTC:

For @usmajy I would surmise there’s at least a handful of noms available for your unit. Focus on being a hard-working MS1, a positive, professional and contributing member of your unit, volunteer for things, keep the grades and PT skills up. You can’t control how many noms are available, but you do have control over how strong an impression you can make on your chain of command. Your COC can also answer questions like this.

Thank you, @Capt MJ. Helpful as always.

Good luck to you! If, for whatever reason, you don’t receive an offer of appointment, thrive where you are planted and don’t look back. You are where you are meant to be.
