Hi,
I visited James Madison University today and really like it. I went online to add it to my school of intent but it was not listed under schools in Virginia with active AROTC programs. JMU does have an active and quite good AROTC battalion. Why wasn't I able to add this school/how can I fix this?
Thank you

It's possible that this school does not get any ROTC scholarship allotments from their battalion. There are some active programs that don't get 4-year national scholarships, but only have on-campus scholarships to give out to currently enrolled cadets.

Or mabye James Madison is part of a Consortium....See if there is another school that represents the main unit...ie...George Washington in DC..Consortium schools are UMD, Georgetown, Howard, and Catholic (or American).

JMU looks like it is it's own batallion, not a cross-town affiliate with anyone. USMAROTC might be right about it not being funded for scholarships, but I would check with CC to make sure it's not a technical issue.
