My daughter is playing the waiting game for West Point. She is applying for the national ROTC scholarship and a ROTC scholarship through the 7th Brigade JROTC. She has been medically qualified already through the West Point process. If she ends up being offered and accepting a ROTC scholarship, will she have to repeat the DODMERB process or will they be able to access her information from the process already completed?

Thanks.

No, she will not have to go through DoDMERB again. One DoDMERB applies to all SA's and ROTC programs.

Just notify the Cadre at the ROTC unit of the college she will attend, that she has already passed DoDMERB thorough the Academy, and they will be able to access it.

KYparent, I think you will find having DodMERB settled is an enormous stress reliever for the summer, especially if she gets an ROTC offer. It certainly was for us!

I was just thinking as I was reading these responses that it was nice to know something is done, LOL.
