Hi everyone! I'm a bit new to this platform but I have some questions regarding my ROTC application (I'm a senior in HS).
I enlisted into the USAR last year and went through BCT this summer. Senior year, I am applying for ROTC and the website says I need a waiver (DD368) of leave so I can go into ROTC. For anyone who has done this before, should I start the waiver now or wait till I get the scholarship. I heard the waiver can take up to weeks or months to process. I'm not sure if this is true but I heard if offered a scholarship I have a month to accept it-so theoretically I have to/should get the waiver passed before then. My recruiter told me to not worry and just wait till I know I get the scholarship. Any Insight into this situation?
