Hey all,
I was recently picked up for a RPA slot. I am very grateful for this opportunity and will gladly accept it. My question is,however, when do the supplemental boards meet and would it be possible for me to get a pilot slot from the supplemental board?

Lastly, would they only take into account the scores I had when I got my RPA slot? Or if I could get more flight hours, a better GPA and PT score, would they use those stats?

Thank you!

I've heard rumors that you can update PCSM score, improve rankings etc. before the supplemental board or ENJJPT boards. Not positive though. Maybe your cadre can answer that too.

Yup. A cadet from my Det did it last year by retaking PFA and AFOQT before the supp boards dropped

If you don't mind me asking, what were your PCSM and AFOQT pilot scores? I had a PCSM in the 30s with a 67 pilot AFOQT and 11 flight hours but I retook it and got a 97 pilot score which bumped my PCSM up to a 68. Retaking the TBAS bumped me up to a 77 from there.

I have a 40 pcsm with a 60 afoqt pilot. I'm sure I could to better because I've had flight time since then. But, my score in the verbal section was dangerously low and that's what concerns me about retaking it.

I know p

I know pcsm and commanders rank takes up the majority of the OM so I don't know if it would be worth the risk. I've always wanted to be a pilot, but I don't know if I should risk losing everything.

In that case, try and get as many flight hours as you can without bankrupting yourself and try and retake the TBAS. If you were a handful of points away from failing verbal, then it's up to you to decide if the risk is worth it. Supplemental boards usually meet first semester and divvy up the open slots from cadets who had pilot slots but were DQ'd for medical or conditionals as well as fill any additional openings the Air Force realized it needed after the first board. I personally know a few cadets that have gotten pilot slots from the supplemental board.

Do you know when the supp boards dropped last year?

My cadre sent me the supp board timeline and here it is. This is the approx. schedule everything is subject to change so don't hold your breath.

9.2.4.6. Last week in August: Deadline for all FT result inputs for the categorization continuation process. This is done by AFROTC/DOT.
9.2.4.7. Last week of September: Categorization continuation process, Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training (ENJJPT) selection process, and Supplemental Board completed.
9.2.4.8. First week in October: Categorization continuation process, ENJJPT, and Supplemental Board results released.
