The seats in their plane are rated to fire safely at 81mph... not when stopped on the tarmac. Investigation underway as to why they fired off accidently.
I hold their families in my thoughts. Regardless of their country or politics, they lost their lives while serving. A horrible way to go, and let’s hope it happened so fast they barely had time to process it or feel anything.
