Son is interviewing with our MOC and the panel very soon and we've been mock-interviewing him at home.
We would be very thankful if someone posted a list of questions that are usually asked by the interviewers.
We did watch some Youtube videos about the process and the questions, but more wouldn't hurt.

Our MOC asked the following::
  • Why do you want to be an officer?
  • Where do you see yourself three years after graduating an SA?
  • What is a failure you’ve experienced and what did you learn from it?
  • How have you prepared yourself physically and academically for the rigors of the academy?
  • What is your Plan B?
  • What is the Honor Code of the SA to which you’re seeking a nomination and how do you demonstrate it?
  • Why did you choose the SA you listed as your top choice?
  • Have you visited that SA?
  • How do you define integrity?
  • Why are you the best person to be chosen today for a nomination?

My son just had his interview today.
Questions he was asked:
What are your strengths and weaknesses?
Which road blocks do you think you will face in your future?
What is the difference between the non-commissioned and commissioned officer?
Why do you want to study at a SA, and not ROTC?
Do you want to play varsity sport at the SA (he's a State champion in his sport)?

Interview lasted 15 minutes.
