Black and Gold squads are tough to make. My sons good friend is on one of them and according to my son he is the most fit person he has ever seen. My son has done Sandhurst for his company for the past two years and it has been a great experience for him.
My daughter was on her company team and they worked out everyday and sometimes twice a day like a sport does. Very difficult to make black and gold teams as a plebe by all are welcome to try out.
It is very physically and time demanding and it is hard to keep up with a regular schedule but can be done. Good luck!
