  1. Will super scoring hurt my application at all? My counselor recommended that I send in fewer tests to colleges, because admissions tend to look through all the scores of all the tests.
  2. I took the SAT once and my score was low. My ACT is much better and I prefer this test. Should I still work on improving my SAT (retake)? Will my SAT score still be looked at by admissions at all?

I submitted my application and I was the opposite (High SAT/ low ACT). It is my understanding that they look at the highest test score.

Get them both as high as you can and send them all in. They really only do look at the best score. I took the SAT 4 times and the ACT 2 times and just sent everything. I did poorly my first SAT but they just look at the best one.

Also, everyone says this but it's so true: the whole person is what matters. Your leadership accomplishments, your sports, your academics, your fitness assessment... Do your best in everything and you won't have to be quite so afraid of a low SAT / ACT.

USAFA super scores both tests. My DS submitted his ACT scores(2 tests) and no SAT scores because his ACT's were better. He received his appointment in early March. If you have additional tests you don't need to make your super score better then don't submit them.
