Hello everyone,
I’ve been reading and seen that USNA will superscore between SAT and ACT. Is this true?
Looking at the conversion chart ACT posted, my ACT reading+writing is equal to a 620 which is better than my SAT 600. Which would bring me up to 1210.
I’m of course not looking for a way out of working harder on these, as I’m steadily prepping to attempt at a 1300.
I’ve taken 2 SAT and increased from a 1110 to an 1190. Desperately trying to get at least 1250.
Thank you

@A1Janitor is correct. They do super score across both tests. You've made improvements which is great and you have time to prep and retest. Admissions will accept scores post 31 January as long as the test is taken prior to 31 January.

Awesome. Besides the 75 percentile (which i think was 1330) do you have any guesses for what you think would be the minimum SAT scores accepted? I seen on the 26’ profile, that the 25 percentile is 1220

The class profile is the right place to look. The other answer is, if you can improve it, do so. Don't leave anything to chance that you can control. If your test scores aren't at the max, your academic record will have to prove that you can do well in the classroom. Dual credits, and AP courses all lead admissions to see that you can do collegiate-level courses (assuming you do well in them).

Also, don't be mad at me, I'm super nit-picky about grammar (I'm sure I make mistakes). Making sure your applications and essays are grammatically correct is key. It requires an eye for detail.

Corrected to read "I saw on the ......". I know this is just a forum, it is just a great habit to get into. I wrote an entire paper on emojis, shorthand, acronyms, and 'textisms' showing up in professional writing, academic papers, and emails.

Got it, I was just speed typing so I wasn’t thinking too much about it😂. Will certainly try to pick up better writing habits.
I’m going to take the test as many times as I can so I can try and improve them as much as humanly possible. Thank you for your help!

Here's the conversion USNA uses.
