SAT Essay NOT REQUIRED

I emailed admissions at West Point and they said the SAT essay portion is no longer required. However, the ACT essay is still required.
 
Actually, if you were lucky enough to sign up for the SAT written portion before it is discontinued after the June 21 tests then you are okay there. But I still recommend taking both tests 2 times anyway with at least one writing / essay part on either or both to be on the safe side. WP super-scores everything.
