No, it will not. Your whole person score will increase automatically throughout the fall as you submit higher scores. Also, USMA (and all of the SAs) superscore the SAT (and ACT). That is, they collect each of your shared test scores and the components from each of your tests, and then select the highest Math and English components to create the best composite score for you, i.e., a superscore. I try to 'convince' my students that the SAs will ignore your lower scores, but some still avoid sending early SAT/ACT scores to the schools. However, I promise that sending your May results will not impact your higher results from later tests. In fact, unless you specify otherwise, all historic scores are sent along with your recent SAT score.
I tell all of my students to test "early & often." It relieves the pressure and stress of having to 'do well' on a particular test when you know that you are taking the SAT four or five times. My students typically do better with each test, especially as components are individually targeted on each one. I.e., use this May SAT to establish a base score and then focus on Math during the June test and then on English during the August test (or a similar pace). I hope that helps!
