SAT vs ACT submission

Speaking of test scores, if the ACT score is equivalent to the SAT scores such as 25 vs 1200, is there any any point in submitting both test scores? Broken down, the math and reading are the same too. 28/630 and 25/570.

We were told to send both. daughter's were not equal in total-higher composite on ACT, but Math was higher on SAT . I wish we could have given an explanation though- she took the SAT one time to see which was worth the effort on a very tight schedule. Really preferred tha ACT so she put her efforts there with 3 attempts until satisfied.

32 (34 E/ 31 M), 1340SAT (670 M, 670 E)- she is a recruited athlete also.
