SAT with Essay

I know West Point requires the SAT with essay, but do they superscore with SATs taken without the essay? For example, if you have a 1200 with an essay, but a 1400 without an essay, will they take your 1400?

Yes. You only have to take it with essay once to satisfy the requirements. Same with ACT. Take it at least once with essay for all ACT scores to count. You can search to find acceptable essay scores for the respective tests and once you achieve that, you don't need to take with essay again.
