Schedule at SLS Posted

On my candidate portal I can now link to the schedule of events at sls. It looks like fun. One question though. On Thursday at 7:30 p.m. it lists Individual Counselling. What is that?
 
Hm, it may have something to do with college counseling. (i.e. What do you want to do with your life? How sure are you of your chosen major and career?)
 
This is an interview done by your squad leader. They'll ask you all types of questions, but this is rather informal, for example, my interview was done in my PT clothes outside the theater where the guys in the platoon were watching Anchorman. The squad leader is watching you all week, and actually rates you on certain areas such as "Military Professionalism" (something along those lines, I don't remember exactly) and then talks to you about these little areas. At the end he told me this isn't used in the admissions process but I wouldn't leave that to chance. He also asked me questions on what I liked about SLS so far and what the cadre could do differently or improve for next year. It's only ten minutes, everyone's was different, and nothing to worry about.

Due to the lack of Liaison Officers overall for WP, if a candidate attends SLS, they will be interviewed and this interview will count in their file - as much as any other interview with a MALO (which means kind of a subjective boost, not straight points). I have done additional ones on strong candidates to try to help their file even more, but in most cases it will fulfill the interview requirements. That said - it's nothing to worry about but more a review of your week and a chance for them to make sure you understand (and are really interested in) West Point. Just be upbeat, positive and motivated and you'll be fine.
 
+1 to that. W.P. hasn't received my forms yet, so I'm still Offered. But again, where is this link?!?!

luckily for me i live close so all of my forms have cleared already...im going to be paying tonight, but still waiting for the link
 
My son's portal is all green for SLS forms received, but the payment tab is still red. I paid the fee 3 days ago (the money is gone from my account) but no green light or SLS schedule. I assume he will see a change soon.
 
Road king, I paid on Feb 2nd and my son's portal wasn't updated until Feb 8th.
